Seaside Health Plan is a California licensed Knox-Keene Health Care Service Plan operated by MemorialCare, and takes its name from MemorialCare’s first Long Beach hospital. Seaside Health Plan provides its Members with access to more than 80 primary care physicians, a large network of specialists, and a network of modern, full-service healthcare centers.
Seaside was created in 2013 as a Managed Care program that focuses on providing individuals with Medi-Cal, Medicare or Commercial coverage with convenient access to quality, evidence-based medicine, superior value, exceptional service and a network of integrated providers through multiple contracts with various health plans. We are partners with The Children’s Clinic, the Family Medicine Program and other community-based physicians at Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach and Long Beach Medical Center. Seaside has been selected to participate in the California Children’s Services (CCS) demonstration project that addresses the needs of children with certain diseases and ongoing medical conditions.
Seaside Health Plan Members also have access to Miller Children's & Women’s Hospital Long Beach, the region’s premier pediatric center, Long Beach Medical Center and Community Medical Center Long Beach, and MemorialCare’s outpatient services and ambulatory centers.
